Turkey Hunter’s Checklist
Courtesy of the National Wild Turkey Federation:
Now is
the time to go through your gear and make sure you
have all your camo and equipment ready to go. The
following turkey hunter’s checklist will help
you get prepared. “One of the quickest ways
to go from a great turkey hunt to a really bad one
is to suddenly realize you forgot something,”
said NWTF CEO Rob Keck.“Having the right call
at the right time can make a huge difference, not
to mention, being stuck in a thunderstormwithout your
raingear. That’s why a checklist can come in
handy.” The NWTF has compiled a comprehensive
checklistfor any turkey hunter, whether you are a
beginner or an expert,or if you are headed out of
state or to your own land. The NWTF’s online
